Dear Members, Colleagues and Friends,
I hope all of you, our valued members, are having a wonderful and productive year of 2023! Most of all, I hope all of you and your families are healthy and well! As we kick off this year, I am excited to share with you the calendar of outstanding continuing education (CE) events that our society has lined up. This year, our focus is on developing our prosthodontic ecosystem and our CE will be centred around this theme. We also plan to launch CE events in collaboration with other specialist societies to sharpen our understanding and expertise at various prosthodontic interfaces. These CE programs would give us ample opportunities to engage with our colleagues from other specialties as well as our dental technicians.
Involvement in organized dentistry is an extremely important pillar of our profession. Together, we can accomplish much with your volunteerism. Hence, I warmly welcome all of our new members and I encourage all of you to get involved as much as possible. All of my colleagues on the executive committee are open to your ideas and suggestions, so I hope to hear from many of you throughout the year.
The Prosthodontic Society (Singapore) would turn 32 this year, a number that symbolises balance and harmony. It is my hope that as we approach our historic 32 years as a society and leading body for prosthodontists in Singapore, that you would find much joy and fulfilment in our various CE, social night, family events, or business events. Your membership includes an impressive amount of CE, much of which helps to fulfill your requirements for dental licensure, while helping you to stay informed at the leading edge of prosthodontic practice. Most importantly, I hope the various CE programs we offer would allow you to maintain camaraderie and friendships within our small fraternity throughout the year.
Together with our dedicated PSS EXCO members, we wish you the best in your professional journey and we thank you for your continued support in our CE programs. Do stay tuned for the announcement upcoming events.
